A good view of the
Olympic
on the River Test in Southampton a few months before the
Titanic
entered service.
Note she has only 16 lifeboats on board (2 rows of 8), the same as the
Titanic
when it sank.
It wasn't until May of the same year, about a month after the
Titanic
tragedy that the
Olympic
returned to the Harland & Wolff shipyard where she was built and had her lifeboat count increased to 64.
