at night while in Cherbourg, France, her 1st port of call after leaving Southampton, on April 10th, 1912.
Her glowing silhouette dominates the skyline from across the harbor.
This is the Premium view from Cherbourg, and the only known full length night photo of the
Titanic
available.
The ship arrived at Cherbourg at around 6:30 pm, and this photo was taken a short time later.
