Federal Depression Glass Cabbage Rose / Sharon Yellow Amber 8.5" Serving Bowl
No obvious chips, though there is at least one small flea bite along the rim. On the bottom, near the marie, there is a long line that looks like somebody hit it with the sharp edge of a knife at some point. It is visible through the glass (as seen in photos) but does not go all the way through the glass. I was not able to catch a fingernail anywhere on the interior of the bowl. Other wise it does show age appropriate wear, and has a nice clear amber yellow color overall.

Vintage and antique glass develops "Character" over time. I do my best to describe defects. Antique/vintage glass may have air bubbles, heat checks, ash residue or shearing/straw marks from the manufacturing process. These are not considered defects.
True chips or cracks will be disclosed. I do try to describe even the smallest flaws, but I'm only human. For some people a flea bite is no big deal, but for others it is. If you would return an item for tiny chips, THAT'S OK.

I do not oil my glass. I use white light or daylight for photos. Photos that were altered in any way other than brightness, contrast, or cropping will be disclosed.
