This is a brand new Chrome Ford Pinto 1970-1972 Manual steering rack and pinion and
brand new 9/16-26 X 3/4" DD Polished universal steering joint
.
Rack Specs:

-Thread: 1/2''-20
-Spline: 9/16''-26
Additionally this includes a Polished U-Joint.
This U-joint is 9/16 - 26 x 3/4" DD.  This joint is used to go from a 3/4" DD steering shaft to a 9/16" by 26 spline fitting.  The 9/16-26 is most commonly found on Mustang and Pinto MANUAL racks, including the popular Mustang II rack.  But the 9/16-26 also fits the following:
Some Chrysler Racks and Boxes
Chrysler Omni
Heidt's Super-Ride Racks
Kugel Racks
These U-Joints are made from polished dichromate
